How can I get a repair if I bought the insurance from Australia ? Will I need to post it somewhere at my cost ?
Is there an extra charge for the repair or replacement service ? Is the Diamond warranty a one off payment or monthly ?

Thanks

Thanks for providing a quality warranty product, but the process is somewhat confusing.
All terms of Diamond Warrantees should be entirely in writing, and all in one place.
One must poke around your site to get what appears to be most of the story.
The statement "at the discretion of Mack Camera" is confusing, because it could mean that Mack Camera has no obligation to perform.

This is great that Diamond warranty covers water damage. Not a lot of companies includes water, mold, and fire damage in the policy. Most of the policies just cover basic things like general property damage. Thanks so much for the post. It is refreshing to find such a comprehensive insurance policy.

I am thinking of buying a digital SLR body ($580.00) from one supplier, and a lens ($705.00) from a second supplier. Can I buy 1 Diamond international guarantee <$1500.00 to cover both items?

Thanks, Alan

I am considering a Mack Diamond Warranty because it covers accidental water damage. Before I purchase I need to verify it would cover accidental water damage when the camcorder is used in a professional underwater housing. The housing costs 5 times more than the camera so this isn't a plastic bag. I have only had one housing leak in almost 20 years and that was due to a manufacturing defect- they also replaced the housing and camera at no charge. Please verify for me that the warranty is not voided by using in a professional underwater housing. Thanks- Mark

Mary,

As stated, as long as it is accidental it will be covered. If we can prove that it was done intentionally then it is a different story.

I just purchased a 3 year diamond warranty and on the card it says it does not cover liquid damage, does this annoncement mean all diamond warranties now *do* cover liquid damage?

So liquid damage means if a camera falls into water? It sounds logical but just making sure I'm not missing the point :)
